To gain entry into AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology candidates require:

• To be an Apprentice who has entered a Training Contract with their employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT

Students will also need to wear work clothing suited to the automotive industry such as:

• Steel cap boots
• Safety glasses
• Protective clothing

To gain entry into AUR31120 Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, candidates require:

• To be an Apprentice who has entered a Training Contract with their employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT

• Steel cap boots
• Safety glasses
• Protective clothing

To gain entry into CUA40420 Certificate IV in Live Production and Technical Services candidates must provide evidence of their skills in live production and technical services and the ability to:

• produce a body of work demonstrating the ability to respond effectively to workplace requirements associated with live production and technical services in line with current industry standards
• apply a basic knowledge of trends and traditions in at least one area of technical production.

Skills and knowledge may have been acquired through experience or formal study.

Students may be required to undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment to determine applicable support requirements.

Successful completion of one of the following:

• a recognised bachelor degree or equivalent international qualification in a related field; or
• a recognised bachelor degree in an unrelated field plus completion of a graduate diploma in a related field or equivalent international qualification.

Related fields include: biological science, earth science, environmental engineering, environmental science, geography, geographic information or sustainability studies.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

A pre-enrolment induction will be conducted, and students will be required to complete a learner support indicator to determine any learner support requirements. There are no no specific entry requirements for this course however, it is highly recommended that individuals hold the Certificate III in Tourism or have vocational experience in industry equivalent to a Certificate III prior to enrolling into this course.

This is not compulsory however students that do not have pre-existing tourism industry knowledge will be encouraged to seek employment in the industry.

Successful completion of a bachelor degree or equivalent international qualification in health or allied health studies.

Applicants who have a degree in social work, counselling or behavioural science may be considered if they have relevant employment experience.

It is expected that all applicants for this course have post-degree work experience with mental health in their relevant industry field in their application.

Students are required to undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LL&N) assessment to establish support requirements for this qualification.

To gain entry in to BSB50120 Diploma of Business, candidates require:

• BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business or BSB40515 Certificate IV in Business Administration, and/or equivalent vocational competency, and/or
• A minimum of two years' workplace experience in an administrative or clerical role.

CDU Domestic Entry Requirements

To gain entry into MAR10418 Certificate I in Maritime Operations (Coxswain Grade 2 Near Coastal) candidates require:

• Literacy and numeracy skills necessary for interpreting regulations and legislation and maintaining relevant records.
• 60 days qualifying sea service

To gain entry into RII20120 Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure Work Preparation, candidates require:

• To be an Apprentice who has entered a Training Contract with their employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT.

Students can also undertake this course as non-Apprentices.
