Massey University Courses

To enter the Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management you will:

• have been awarded or qualified for a bachelor's degree with a major in Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification, having achieved a B- grade average or higher over the qualifying 300-level courses, and have completed at least two years of relevant professional experience, or
• have been awarded or qualified for a Graduate Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification; having achieved a B- grade average or higher over the qualification, and have completed at least two years of relevant professional experience, or
• have demonstrated at least five years of relevant professional experience, including completion of appropriate professional qualifications or equivalent, via a portfolio, and an interview at the discretion of the University.

To enter the Foundation Certificate in Agriculture you will have successfully completed one of the following:

• 12 weeks of farm employment, or
• a level 3 NZQF Certificate that is agriculture-related.

You may also be required to attend an interview.

To enter the Postgraduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy you will have completed a Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy or the Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy with Honours, having achieved a grade average of at least a B.

You will need to provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.

To enter the Graduate Diploma in Facilities Management programme you will:

• have been awarded or qualified for a bachelor's degree, or equivalent, and
• have completed at least two years of relevant professional experience.

You will need to provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.

To enter the Diploma in Agriculture you will need to have completed:

• 12 weeks farm employment, or
• a level 3 NZQF Certificate that is agriculture related.

To enter the Certificate in Foundation Studies you will:

• have completed NCEA Level 2, or equivalent, and
• have a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 overall with a minimum of 5.0 in each band or equivalent, if English is not your first language.

As well as meeting the academic requirements, you will have English language proficiency of IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.0 in each band, or equivalent.

To enter the Postgraduate Diploma in Museum Studies, you will have been awarded or qualified for a relevant bachelor's degree, having achieved a grade average of at least a B-.

You will need to provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.

This programme is only available if you have approved employment in the New Zealand dairy industry.

To enter the Master of Dairy Science and Technology you will:

• have been awarded or qualified for either a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, Bachelor of Science with Honours, a Bachelor of Food Technology with Honours, or equivalent, and
• have approved employment in the New Zealand dairy industry to facilitate the requirements of courses 141.751 Dairy Products Technical Projects and 141.848 Dairy Science and Technology Research Project.

This programme is a selected entry programme. This means there are a number of extra requirements you must meet.

To enter the Bachelor of Aviation programme, you must pass NCEA Level 3/Year 13 or equivalent in an 'English-rich' subject. These include one of the following:

• classical studies
• English
• geography
• history
• history of art
• media studies
• religious education (RE)
• business studies
• biology
• economics.

When you first apply online you need to:

• provide a CV including academic and work history
• have completed a trial flight
• provide any information of circumstances in your past personal or professional life that might make you ineligible to train for, or hold, a professional pilots licence in New Zealand (see below for more information).

If you already have a NZCAA Class One Medical Certificate please also upload a copy with your application. But this is not essential for your initial application.
