Massey University Courses

To enter the Master of Philosophy you will:

• have been awarded or qualified for a bachelor degree or bachelor honours degree that is acceptable to the college in which the study is proposed, or
• have an equivalent qualification or professional qualifications or experience that are acceptable to the college in which the study is proposed.

You must provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.

To enter the Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management you will:

• have been awarded or qualified for a bachelor's degree with a major in Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification, having achieved a B- grade average or higher over the qualifying 300-level courses, and have completed at least two years of relevant professional experience, or
• have been awarded or qualified for a Graduate Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification; having achieved a B- grade average or higher over the qualification, and have completed at least two years of relevant professional experience, or
• have demonstrated at least five years of relevant professional experience, including completion of appropriate professional qualifications or equivalent, via a portfolio, and an interview at the discretion of the University.

To enter the Foundation Certificate in Agriculture you will have successfully completed one of the following:

• 12 weeks of farm employment, or
• a level 3 NZQF Certificate that is agriculture-related.

You may also be required to attend an interview.

To enter the Postgraduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy you will have completed a Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy or the Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy with Honours, having achieved a grade average of at least a B.

You will need to provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.

To enter the Graduate Diploma in Facilities Management programme you will:

• have been awarded or qualified for a bachelor's degree, or equivalent, and
• have completed at least two years of relevant professional experience.

You will need to provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.

To enter the Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work programme you will:

• have been awarded a Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Social Work with Honours or equivalent.

You will provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.

To enter the Postgraduate Certificate in International Development you will have been awarded or qualified for:

• a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Development Studies, or equivalent (e.g. BA with a major in International Relations, Social Anthropology or Sociology), or
• any bachelor's degree, along with relevant field or industry experience of an appropriate kind and duration.

Also provide:

• your curriculum vitae outlining your experience.
• verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.

Field experience that can be included towards your admission could be:

• voluntary work e.g. refugee resettlement with Red Cross
• supporting a disadvantaged community group in NZ
• other relevant work or experience (e.g.a social worker, nurse or teacher in NZ or overseas)
• specific development experience (e.g. an engineer who worked in Nepal).

To enter the Certificate of Proficiency (Student Exchange) you will:

• have completed at least one year of successful university level study in your home country
• have permission from your home university to undertake study at Massey University
• have a cumulative GPA for all higher education work of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent.

To enter the Master of Finance programme you will have been awarded or qualified for a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, with a minimum C+ grade average in the highest level courses.

If you have a Bachelor of Business Studies with Honours, or the equivalent degree of another recognised university, you may apply for credit towards Part One of the qualification in accordance with the limits specified in the Recognition of Prior Learning regulations.
