Admission requirements are met by one of the following:

• Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 60*.
• Successful completion of a national qualification at Certificate III level or higher.
• Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma.
• Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.
• Attainment of a STAT Multiple Choice score of 140.
• Successful completion of the Tertiary Enabling Program, the Preparation for Tertiary Success courses, or other recognised tertiary preparation course.

Consideration will also be given to applicants that do not meet the University's minimum entry requirements who have relevant professional experience and knowledge in Indigenous work.

To gain entry into RII30120 Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations as an Apprentice, candidates require:

• To be an Apprentice who has entered a Training Contract with their employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT.

Students can also undertake this course as non-Apprentices.

A pre-enrolment process to establish suitability to undertake the course and to determine support requirements will be conducted, which will include a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment.

Students do require a retail workplace. this can be unpaid, such as a volunteer in a charity store, where they can have a minimum of three (3) hours weekly practice to develop their skill base. Students must be 15 years of age or older as per CDU Student Guide.

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however, a Pre-enrolment interview will be conducted, and your lecturer will determine whether a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment is necessary to establish support requirements.

To gain entry into UEE33020 Certificate III in Electrical Fitting candidates are required to:

• Be an Apprentice who has entered a Training Contract with an employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT.

There are no mandatory entry requirements for this qualification. However, applicants who wish to commence this course need to have the required skills and knowledge to undertake the qualification at this level; e.g. completion of Year 10 or equivalent, and a general command of spoken and written English, to be able to meet industry standards for communication.
