There are no specific requirements to enter this qualification however all students need to demonstrate the required level of language, literacy and numeracy skills and knowledge to undertake a qualification at this level.

Admission requirements are met by one of the following:

• Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 60*.
• Successful completion of a national qualification at Certificate III level or higher.
• Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma.
• Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.
• Attainment of a STAT Multiple Choice score of 140.
• Successful completion of the Tertiary Enabling Program, the Preparation for Tertiary Success courses, or other recognised tertiary preparation course.
• Submission of an acceptable personal competencies statement and/or employment experience.
• Defence members with service of 1 year or more at the following ranks (or higher) meet the academic entry requirement for this course:

Entry requirements for the Bachelor of Business are dependent of the single or double major award streams you are applying for; these are listed in the two blocks below.

Hospitality Management - successful completion of the VET qualification

• SIT40416 - Certificate IV in Hospitality or

To gain entry into AUR32420 - Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology candidates require:

• To be an Apprentice who has entered a Training Contract with their employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT

Students will also need to wear work clothing suited to the automotive industry such as:

• Steel cap boots
• Safety glasses
• Protective clothing
• Respirator

To gain entry into AHC21216 Certificate II in Rural Operations, candidates require:

• To be physically fit, active and able to function effectively in a tropical environment, as this is a physically demanding course, and;
• Students must have a work contract with an approved employer to undertake a traineeship

Students can undertake this course as non-Apprentices, candidates are required to either:

• Have completed UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology - Electrician

OR

• Hold a current A-Grade Electrical Licence (unrestricted)
