This Operating Theatre Technician skill set provides comprehensive training to prepare graduates to assist health professionals in an operating theatre.
Entry Requirements

Entry into this skill set requires the following:

- Applicants hold the HLT33115 - Certificate III in Health Services Assistance qualification or
- Applicants have completed or are concurrently enrolled in the HLT33115 - Certificate III in Health Services Assistance 12 unit Partial Qualification delivered at Holmesglen

Prior to enrolment or commencement of training students will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment (BKSB test) and a pre-training interview.

Prior to undertaking clinical placement, students will need to provide their health and immunisation status, complete a National Police Records Check annually and hold a valid Working with Children Check for employees.
