Apprentices must have a Registered Training Agreement with their employer, It is recommended school leaver students complete the pre-apprenticeship pathway (Certificate II) prior to enrolling, or complete a pre-training assessment for literacy and numeracy of BKSB assessment with an outcome of ACSF exit level 2, working level 3

All students must have a registered USI and complete a pre-training review prior to enrolment, Apprentices must have a Registered Training Agreement with their employer, Be physically capable of sustaining CPR for at least two (2) minutes on the floor to successfully complete the requirements of the course, Complete a pre-training assessment for language, literacy and numeracy skills., Please Note: Students need to have sufficient mobility and dexterity to navigate simulated building sites (including working at heights) and manual handling of building materials, tool and equipment.

Have a demonstrated capacity in reading ,writing, numeracy, oracy and learning to level 3 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), Year 10 level of maths and english preferred

All applicants to complete BKSB and must obtain ACSF exit level 1 (working at level 2) in both literacy and numeracy, Have a demonstrated capacity in reading ,writing, numeracy, oracy and learning to level 2 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF)

Year 10 level of maths and english preferred

All students must be 16 years old on the 1st February of the commencing year, Attend an information session, have a demonstrated capacity in oracy to level 3 and learning ,reading ,writing and numeracy to level 2 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), Working with Children (volunteer) check required, Year 10 Maths and English is recommended. All students are required to attend a compulsory information session before their applications are to be accepted.

All students must complete BSKB and must obtain exit level 3 in both literacy and numeracy (working at level 4)., Please note: students need a Valid Working with Children Check (volunteer) and a clear national police check, Trainees must have a Registered Training Agreement with their employer
