Entry Requirements

Applicants must be at least 17 years and 3 months of age at time of course commencement. Applicants under the age of 18 must obtain parental agreement., applicants must successfully complete BKSB before the enrolment, achieving English Exit Level 2 and Maths Exit level 1, Be physically and mentally capable of engaging professionally with children, families, and colleagues for a maximum 7.5 hours per day, up to 5 days per week, have parental agreement for students under 18 years of age, Students must complete a minimum of 160 hour work placement and be physically capable of sustaining CPR for at least two (2) minutes on the floor to successfully complete the requirements of the course, Students need to be able to obtain a volunteer Working With Children Check prior to undertaking work placement
