This course is only available for First Nations peoples who would like to pursue a career in health, teacher education, arts and humanities, or STEM.

To participate in this program you must be 17 years or over and completed at least Year 10 or equivalent. If you are a mature person without completion of Year 10, you can still apply based on your skills and experience.

Students in the program will be supported through peer-to-peer learning and mentoring.

Successful completion of a recognised bachelor degree or equivalent international qualification with at least a credit average (GPA of 5.00).

Short-listed applicants may be required to undertake an interview.

Whilst you may meet the advertised minimum entry requirements, this does not guarantee you a place in the course, instead offers will be made on merit.

To gain entry into AHC31421 Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem management as an Apprentice, candidates are required:

• To be an Apprentices who has entered a Training Contract with their employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT

Students can undertake this course as a non-apprentice. It is advisable that candidates:

• Have completed AHC21020 Certificate II in Conservation and Ecosystem Management or a relevant qualification

OR

• Be employed within the conservation industry

You are required to wear enclosed shoes during the course, and appropriate clothing such as: a hat, long pants, sleeved shirt with collar and a water bottle.

To gain entry candidates require:

• To be employed as electricians and others employed in the electrical services industry.
• Must have completed pre-requisite units for UETDRMP007: HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, plus UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace or UETDREL006 Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker.

To gain entry into CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support, candidates require;

• Completion of LLN Robot quiz, minimum of Level 3 across all five areas (Learning, Reading, Writing, Oral Communication and Numeracy)
• General command of spoken and written English to meet industry standards for communication in the Education sector
• Valid Working with children clearance (Ochre Card)
• Suitable workplace (paid or voluntary) to undertake placement of at least 100 hours of work in a classroom environment catering to primary or secondary school students. If the student is not currently working in a school, the University will organise a school for placement

To gain entry into, CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction candidates require:

• Recommended completion of English and Maths to a year 12 standard
• Mature-aged students, with industry skills and knowledge
• Confident computer literacy
• Candidates are expected to have or obtain an NT White card

To gain entry into CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction as an apprentice, candidates require:

• To be an Apprentice who has entered a Training Contract with their employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT
