Safework Australia stipulates that participants are to be aged 18 years and over and that assessment is conducted in the English language.

Current or previous experience working in the Manufacturing, Construction or Infrastructure Industries.

A good command of the English language, both written and verbal, is recommended.

A pre-training review will determine the suitability of prospective learners to the course.

To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.

You must have a training agreement with a registered employer from a relevant industry.

Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist in determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.

Holmesglen requires all learners to be engaged in a plumbing apprenticeship. You must be signed up as an apprentice with your chosen employer and have an Epsilon number stating Holmesglen is your selected training provider.

For the operations stream, a candidate must hold a Certificate III in Plumbing or be authorised to undertake plumbing work by an Australian regulator/licensing body.
