All applicants are required to attend an interview, Applicants must complete the Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB) assessment and achieve an outcome of ACSF exit level 2 - working level 3 for literacy and numeracy., Be physically and mentally capable of engaging professionally with children, families, and colleagues for approximately 7.5 hours x 9 days per fortnight, Be physically capable of sustaining CPR for at least two (2) minutes on the floor to successfully complete the requirements of the course, Parental agreement for students under 18 years of age required, Please note: All students need to be able to obtain a volunteer Working With Children Check prior to undertaking work placement., Students who are aged under 17 years require a completed Transition from School form from their school, Trainees must have a Registered Training Agreement with their employer
