Masters (Coursework)
This one-year professional taught master's degree is the only programme of its kind in Aotearoa New Zealand. The Master of Computer-Assisted Language Learning will produce skillful language educators who can use technology to enhance learning around the world. Graduates will be able to introduce technology-enhanced learning of languages in a variety of educational settings from early childhood to tertiary and adult learning.
Of particular interest to language educators and teachers of English and other languages, this programme prepares participants to make optimal use of technology in their classrooms, and paves the way for further development, based on the latest research.
Students anywhere in the world can study this programme online either full-time or part-time.
Every student for the Master of Computer-Assisted Language Learning will need a bachelor's degree with a B Grade Point Average or better, or equivalent, and approval to enrol. The relevance and standard of undergraduate studies and any subsequent professional work experience are the main criteria of approval.
If English is your additional language, you are also required to meet UC's English language requirements.
