Additional application information
Students must maintain provisional registration as an intern pharmacist or general registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. For applicants who need to provide evidence of English proficiency, please note that this program requires a higher level of English language proficiency than the UQ minimum. Availability of Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) are reviewed yearly and are offered to eligible applicants on a limited basis. There is no guarantee that any CSP places will be available. The number of CSPs for Semester 1 and 2 commencement are limited and selection is highly competitive. There will be no separate application process for CSPs and all eligible candidates who submit a complete application by 31 January (Semester 1) or June 30 (Semester 2) of each year will be automatically considered. Applicants will be notified prior to the start of classes whether they have been offered a CSP. Please be aware not all applicants will be successful. Applicants who are unsuccessful in securing a CSP offer may still be offered a place in the program as a full-fee paying student. Selection for CSPs is managed by the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences and based purely on academic merit (e.g. past academic performance, level of qualifications).
