To be eligible to undertake the 2nd year of VDSS study, students must have satisfactorily completed the 1st Year units. There are no prerequisites for entering 1st year of the two year program.

This course is for students undertaking the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM). Please contact your school for more information.

Entry Requirements

Please keep in mind that the practical activities and assessments in this training require a degree of physical ability, especially the CPR component. You must be able to complete CPR to a manikin on the floor for at least 2 minutes. If you do not have any difficulty kneeling for this duration or when maneuvering a manikin, you should have no issues in this course.
