You must have a recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline.

Master of Public Health - 2 year program

A completed recognised bachelor degree (or higher)

Master of Public Health - 1.5 year program

Applicants who have a completed recognised bachelor degree

You must have one of the following:

• A recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline; or
• A recognised diploma (or higher qualification) in any discipline and at least two years full-time (or equivalent) professional work experience; or
• At least five years full-time (or equivalent) professional work experience.

You must have a completed recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline.

You must have a recognised bachelor degree (or higher award) in any discipline.

You must have the following:

• A minimum of 48 credit points (equivalent of one semester full time study) of recognised basic science units completed in a recognised bachelor degree and must include:
  • 12 credit points (one subject) of foundation chemistry; and
  • 36 credit points (three subjects) in other science areas (e.g. microbiology physics anatomy and physiology life science environmental science).

A completed recognised bachelor degree (or higher award)

A minimum 48 credit points (equivalent of one semester full-time study) of recognised basic science units that were included at Bachelor level and must include:

• a minimum of 12 credit points (one subject) of foundation chemistry; and
• a further 36 credit points (equivalent to three subjects) in other science areas (e.g. microbiology physics anatomy and physiology life science environmental science).

You must have a recognised bachelor degree or masters by coursework with at least a major in business administration or management with a minimum grade point average of 5.00 (on QUT's 7-point scale) completed within the last 2 years plus:

• Suitable honours topic
• Proposed honours supervisor

If you do not meet the grade point average requirement but you have:

• Excelled in the final semesters of your degree; or
• Completed a double degree and excelled in the business or commerce part of your double degree

you are encouraged to apply.

• A recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in law (or equivalent study) which is approved for admission by the Australian legal profession; or
• Currently studying for bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in law (or equivalent study) with no more than two units to complete by the date the course commences and neither of those units is a unit commonly known as the "Priestly 11"; plus
• You have the permission of the Legal Practitioners Admissions Board (LPAB) (Queensland) to commence the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice while you complete those units.

• A recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in law (or equivalent study); plus
• You have the permission of the Legal Practitioners Admissions Board (LPAB) (Queensland) to commence the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. You will need to submit the LPAB letter as part of your application. Please refer to the instructions on the Queensland Law Society website.

A completed bachelor degree higher award or equivalent study in law which is approved for admission to the Australian legal profession; or

Currently studying for such a degree award or equivalent with no more than two units to complete by the date the course commences and neither of those units is a unit commonly known as the "Priestly 11"; and

You have the permission of the Queensland Legal Practitioners Admissions Board to commence the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice while you complete those units.

Applicants with overseas law qualifications

A recognised completed bachelor degree higher award or equivalent study in law which is approved for admission to the Australian legal profession.

Applicants with law degrees completed overseas will need to have their degree assessed by the Legal Practitioners Admission Board (LPAB) in Queensland before applying to QUT. Please refer to the instructions on the Queensland Law Society website.

The LPAB will assess your qualification and provide you a letter outlining the law undergraduate/Priestly 11 units you must study prior to commencing LP41 Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. You must include this letter with your application to study at QUT.

International students wishing to study in Australia will receive a package offer with U096 International Transfer Year or U084 International Transfer Semester depending on the number of units the LPAB has identified you must study.

You must have one of the following:

• A recognised bachelor degree (or higher) in any field.

• Completed the QUT Graduate Certificate in Digital Communication; or
• A recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in a relevant discipline; or
• A recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline followed by at least six months full-time (or equivalent) relevant professional experience.

• Completed the QUT Graduate Diploma in Digital Communication; or
• A recognised bachelor degree in a relevant discipline followed by at least two years full-time (or equivalent) relevant professional experience; or
• A recognised bachelor degree plus graduate certificate both in a relevant discipline; or
• A recognised bachelor honours degree in a relevant discipline; or
• A recognised graduate diploma (or higher) in a relevant discipline.

Master of Digital Communication (Project Pathway option) - 2 year program:

• A completed recognised bachelor degree in any discipline with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale).

Master of Digital Communication (Project Pathway option) - 1.5 year program:

• A completed recognised bachelor degree with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) in a relevant discipline*; or
• Completion of QUT's Graduate Certificate in Digital Communication with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale); or
• A completed recognised bachelor degree in any discipline with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) and at least 6 months (full-time equivalent) professional experience in relevant discipline such as such as advertising animation communication interaction design journalism media marketing or public relations. Students applying on the basis of work experience must submit a detailed CV position details and employment statements.

Master of Digital Communication (Project Pathway option) - 1 year program:

• A completed Australian Honours Bachelor degree with a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) in digital communication a relevant discipline*; or
• A completed recognised bachelor degree with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) in digital communication or a relevant discipline and a completed Graduate Certificate with grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) in digital communication or a relevant discipline*; or
• Completion of QUT's Graduate Diploma in Digital Communication with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale); or
• A completed recognised bachelor degree with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) in digital communication or a relevant discipline and a minimum of 2 years of (full-time equivalent) professional experience in a relevant discipline such as such as advertising animation communication interaction design journalism media marketing or public relations. Master of Digital Communication (Advanced Project Pathway option) - 2 year program:

• A completed recognised bachelor degree with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) in digital communication or a relevant discipline and a minimum 2 years of (full-time equivalent) professional experience in relevant discipline such as such as advertising animation communication interaction design journalism media marketing or public relations. Master of Digital Communication (Advanced Project Pathway option) - 1.5 year & 1 year program options : Not available. Students who choose the Advanced Pathway will not receive the full amount of advanced standing to complete the masters in a shorter duration.

*Relevant study disciplines and work experience include: digital communication advertising animation communication interaction design journalism media marketing or public relations.

Current registration as a Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

As a QUT College Diploma in Entrepreneurship (creative industries pathway) or Esports (creative industries pathway) graduate you will automatically receive an offer to start the Bachelor of Communication within one week after completion of the diploma. You will also automatically receive up to 1.0 year (96 credit points) credit transfer and be able to complete the degree in 2 years as a full-time student (or equivalent part-time).
