Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Games Design (Honours) program, applicants must:

  • have achieved a grade point average of at least 5.0 in their undergraduate degree
  • have negotiated one supervisor who is available and willing to facilitate the student's requirements
  • confirm (prior to application) that their chosen project can be conducted within the appropriate concentration area - that is, check the availability of resources, supervision etc
  • submit a proposal outlining the nature of the Research Project they wish to undertake
  • applicants are required to present a current folio of their most outstanding work.

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Environment, a student must hold:

Graduate Certificate

This program enables managers with extensive relevant experience but without a prior undergraduate degree in a business discipline to advance their management thinking through four foundation courses as a stepping-stone to more advanced courses within the Master of Business Administration.
Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, an applicant must:

  • have a minimum of six years equivalent full-time work experience which includes:
    • four years of relevant work experience and
    • two years in a role demonstrating leadership experience.

Leadership can include direct supervisory experience and/or change management in an organisational or project-specific setting.

Evidence of work experience must include a detailed work history (roles, responsibilities and achievements).

Upon request, applicants may be asked to provide:

  • An Applicant Statement of Leadership Experience (maximum 750 words). To demonstrate relevance of work experience, applicants will need to provide a statement detailing examples of applied leadership skills and how their experiences will be complemented by the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration program along with a sound knowledge of the Griffith Business School values.

  • successful completion of the Griffith Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent qualification from another university
  • a GPA of at least 5.0 over the second, third and fourth year of the Bachelor degree, excluding the Clinical Placement courses.

The Program Director will take the following into consideration when assessing applications for admission:

  • the suitability of the proposed dissertation topic, the resources available to support the candidature and the availability of appropriate supervision
  • the preparedness of the applicant to undertake the degree in terms of the elapsed time since the prospective candidate qualified for the award of a Bachelor degree and the academic preparation provided by the Bachelor degree for the candidate's proposed dissertation topic.

Credit applications for other Graduate Certificate programs are assessed individually and will require assessment of similarity in learning outcomes.

Students who wish to transfer from the Master of Public Health to the Master of Global Public Health must do so before graduating from the Master of Public Health.

Students who have graduated with the Master of Health Services Management (120 credit points) award are not eligible for admission to the Master of Advanced Health Services Management.
