Graduate Certificate
Applicants must normally hold an approved health-related bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care must have at least one yearsâ work experience in palliative care or a related field.
Graduate Diploma
Applicants for the graduate diploma must also have at least two yearsâ experience in palliative care, aged care or in a related field.
Masters
Applicants for the masters must also have at least two yearsâ experience in palliative care, aged care or in a related field.
Applicants for the graduate certificates must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution. Candidates with considerable work experience can also be considered for admission to one of our graduate certificates.
Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution. Candidate who have completed one of our graduate certificates but not a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution will be considered for admission if they have achieved the required GPA.
Applicants for the masters degrees must hold a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution. Candidates who have completed our graduate diploma but not a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution will be considered for admission if they have achieved the required GPA.
Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Applicants for the Master of Education (Wellbeing and Positive Mental Health) will qualify for either 2-year or 1.5-year program. Applicants who hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification are eligible for the two-year program, and will complete up to 72 units of study. Applicants who hold a four-year bachelor degree in education, teaching or a closely related discipline are eligible for the 1.5-year program, and will complete up to 54 units of study.
Applicants must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification, and be registered nurses.

Graduates already with a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching are specialised into English as a Second Language (ESL)/Languages Other than English (LOTE).

Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation, Graduate Diploma in Clinical Rehabilitation and Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (coursework or research) must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in a health-related field such as nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy or other allied health area.
Applicants who do not hold the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification and have not less than two years' postgraduate experience in a relevant clinical area.
Applicants who do not hold the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation or the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Rehabilitation must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution and have not less than two years work experience in a relevant clinical area.
Applicants for the Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Physiotherapy) must hold an approved physiotherapy degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution, and have at least two yearsâ professional experience in a relevant clinical area. In addition, all applicants must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority as a physiotherapist, and maintain this registration for the duration of the course.
Applicants for the Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Occupational Therapy) must hold an approved occupational therapy degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution, and have not less than two yearsâ professional experience in a relevant clinical area. In addition, applicants must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (or the equivalent state body) as an occupational therapist, and maintain this registration for the duration of the course.

In addition, whatever qualification is held, students are expected to be able to demonstrate previous study or recognised prior learning in communication and planning skills, mathematics (equivalent to first year university mathematics), and science (equivalent to university undergraduate topics in chemistry and physics). Some basic knowledge of other relevant sciences will be assumed.
Software engineering assumes previous study in programming and computing fundamentals.
