COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement The COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory to be eligible to attend a WIL placement for this course. Students will be required to provide evidence of having completed a COVID-19 vaccination schedule by the closing date prior to a WIL placement. The vaccine received must be a vaccine approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) of Australia.

Entry Requirements

• A secondary qualification (Year 11 and 12, or equivalent), or
• Bachelor level qualification study for a period of at least 2 years full time with a minimum overall GPA 4.0

• An International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic) with an overall band score of at least 6.5 with no sub-score below 6.0 in each subset, or
• A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL - internet based) with an overall score of at least 79 or better overall and no sub-score less that 21; or
• A Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with an overall band score of 62 with no sub-score less than 54, or
• An Occupational English Test with Grades A or B only in each of the four components

Security RequirementsCourse years 2 - 4 include periods of clinical placement. Students must satisfy specific pre-clinical safety and security requirements prior to each placement and must disclose any condition that may put himself or herself, or the public, at significant risk whilst on placement. Students are required to meet all mandatory requirements to attend Clinical Placements and Clinical placements are a requirement for the award of the Degree. A student may be determined ineligible for placement based on the inability to perform required tasks or if the student may be determined a risk to clients, staff or other stakeholders. A student may be determined ineligible for placement if the placement site is unable to work within the constraints of any conditions or work modifications placed upon the work site by the State Health Department or Assessment Unit within a private organisation. If conditions imposed upon the placement are too restrictive for placement sites within the current offer round, the student is determined not fit for placement and is at risk of the University terminating enrolment in the degree. A person may be considered for admission to candidature for the degree of Doctor of Education if the person:

has not less than five years of professional experience in education;

has fulfilled such other requirements as the Committee may determine from time to time; and

has qualified for the degree of Master of Education (Research), a coursework Masters degree; or

has been awarded the Bachelor of Learning Management with a minimum of Honours IIA at CQUniversity; or

has such other qualifications and experience as are considered by the Committee to be equivalent to or an adequate substitute for any of the qualifications listed above. Security Requirements

To be eligible for entry into this course, applicants must demonstrate one of the following:

• A completed Bachelor degree from an Australian university or college or equivalent; and
• Letter/s of employment which demonstrates you have a minimum of one year teaching experience in the vocational or higher education industry; or professional experience in the facilitation of the learning of others for example Nurse Educators, Defence.

Or

• A Trade qualification or an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Diploma level qualification; and
• An Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (latest upgrade); and
• Letter/s of employment which demonstrates you have a minimum of three years vocational or higher education level teaching.

Letter/s of employment must be presented on a company letterhead and be signed and dated by a delegated authority. Please ensure that the letter contains your position title, duties performed and length of service.

English Language Proficiency Requirements

If you were not born in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa or United States of America, you are required to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements set by the University. Applicants are required to provide evidence of completion of:

To gain entry to this course, students must have:

- A non-accounting undergraduate degree in any discipline from an Australian university, or AQF equivalent from an overseas institution; or

- An AQF equivalent accounting bachelor degree received from an overseas institution or organisation, that does not meet accreditation with an Australian Accounting registration body for associate membership purposes; or

- A graduate diploma in any discipline from an Australian university.

English Language Proficiency Requirements:
