- These are internships posted on our site in the last twelve months (July 2022 - July 2023) that accept Australian Temporary Work Visa holders.
- The average salaries listed are the averages of the salary ranges that employers provide. So if an employer says an internship's salary range is $50k-$70k (pro-rated), then the average salary is $60k.
What are the top industries hiring international students?
The majority of high-paying graduate and entry-level jobs available to international students fall under these three sectors.
- Trading: This is the sector with – hands-down – the highest salaries for both domestic and international grads. Trading firms pay top dollar for the best talent, Australian or not!
- Mining, Oil & Gas: Trading may have the highest pay, but it's the mining, oil & gas sector that has the greatest number of high-paying job postings.
- Technology: Australia faces a serious shortage of IT talent – a skills gap that internationals are welcome to address!
