What we consider 
Applicants will generally be considered for an offer on the basis of their undergraduate degree, however some courses also have additional selection criteria such as an interview, referee report or a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) requirement.

James Cook University (JCU)’s Bachelor degree courses have a minimum rank threshold (sometimes called a “cut-off”) that all applicants must meet in order to be considered for an offer, which is in addition to any admission requirements such as pre-requisites.&nbsp;&nbsp;For high demand courses, simply meeting this threshold will not guarantee an offer as places are limited and there may also be additional selection criteria used.&nbsp;

Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) is an accredited four-year private university with approximately 3,600 students in Kyoto, Japan. It was founded in 1969.

In 2020, KUAS established the Faculty of Engineering where students can learn the most advanced technologies through a practical study program. The Study of Mechatronics in the Context of Emerging Industries.

Mechatronics is the academic area of focus at KUAS's graduate school, specifically the study of mechatronics in the context of emerging industries. Conventional fields of mechatronics have included mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering, which at KUAS are extended with chemical, materials, information, and knowledge engineering. Skills acquired in these disciplines can be applied in many industries, particularly in the fields of robotics, drones, and electric vehicles. Graduate students are affiliated with a research laboratory and learn in an "on- the-research training" environment under the supervision of globally-active professors from around the world.
