For persons who have completed a degree at University, there are different options available. You may wish to complete another Undergraduate program, a Postgraduate program or a Master of Research.

If you are a current local or international student wanting to go on Exchange, you need to apply direct to the University. If you are an international student wanting to complete a Study Abroad package, you need to apply direct to the University.&nbsp;

Whether you’re moving from high school straight into uni, have taken some time off since you completed year 12, or are over 20 years of age and planning to study at uni for the first time, you'll find all the undergraduate information you need at&nbsp;University of Technology, Sydney.

Victoria University achieved university status in 1991, but our preceding institutions date back to 1916. It is one of Australia’s few dual-sector universities.

As one of 39 public universities in Australia, graduates can be assured their qualification from VU is being awarded from a university operating in a world-class education system.

As well as about 5000 international students studying our courses in Australia, we have more than 9400 international students studying VU courses at overseas partner institutions, mainly in Asia.

Being a dual-sector university means that their students can easily pathway from vocational education to higher education - such as from a certificate or diploma course through to an undergraduate degree or even a postgraduate qualification by coursework or research.

An application for a research degree that is not dependent upon a scholarship can be made at any time throughout the year.

Applicants for a research degree who would also like to apply for a main round graduate research scholarship are required to apply for a scholarship first.&nbsp; These are available for application each year in August to September for International students and September to October for Domestic Students and include government schemes APA and IPRS.

In addition to these scholarships there are a range of other options for funding your research degree available throughout the year.
