About this course

The Graduate Certificate in Economic Geology has been designed for those working as geoscientists, providing a detailed overview in the fundamentals of Economic Geology including the latest developments in mineral exploration, mining, and environmental management. The course introduces you to the theory, acquisition, analysis, and interpretation of a wide range of geological data sets that impact the mining value chain.

Taught by a team of highly qualified national and international experts from industry, academia, and government, the course is delivered through a series of intensive "face-to-face" learning opportunities, supported by extensive online content. You will be introduced to a range of techniques that improve the information that geologists produce in the mine environment that are relevant to mining engineers and metallurgists.
