This course provides advanced postgraduate training for clinicians wishing to understand and manage diabetes, obesity and associated cardiovascular complications in the general population as well as high risk sub-groups.

Students who have completed the compulsory research unit and achieved an average of at least 75% in 24 credit points of compulsory and/or stream specific units of study are eligible to apply to transfer to the Master of Medicine (Advanced) (Metabolic Health).
