The Master of Finance Global Investment and Trade specialisation focuses on advanced financial theory and its application to critical issues and policy challenges facing the world's institutions, global finance and international financial markets.

You will develop the skills and expertise to analyse critical financial data and make informed decisions in a global context. You will study courses in international finance and trade and graduate with the knowledge and practical skills required for employment in a modern globalised financial sector.

Under the guidance of our highly-experienced research professionals, you will strengthen your research and analytical skills. You can also choose to enhance your business consulting skills and professional experience through 150 hours of business placement in Australia or overseas.

What you will learn

The Master of Finance (Global Investment and Trade) is made up of 16 courses including two electives and two specialisation electives. You will study core courses in business and global investment and trade and select from specialised electives such as Behavioural Finance, International Business: Strategy and Ethics or Applied Research in Finance. One of your elective options is also a 150-hour industry placement either in Australia or overseas.
