Our Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering offers you an opportunity for advanced technical training and continued professional development. You can structure your learning by selecting courses in your specific field of expertise. The postgraduate diploma will be awarded endorsed in one of the disciplines listed further below, and can often lead to a masters degree.

Specialisations (endorsed)

Of the 120 points required for the PGDipEng a student must pass a minimum of six courses (90 points) from one of the specialisations listed below, and two courses (30 points) from other relevant courses; selected from the schedules for the Master of Civil Engineering, Master of Engineering Studies or Master of Professional Engineering (excluding dissertation, research portfolio and research project courses).


Subject to meeting degree requirements, graduates can also transfer to an Engineering masters programme.
