The 120-point Postgraduate Diploma in Business is best suited to early career managers who would like to pathway into a professional masters degree. For entry into the programme, you will need a bachelors degree plus a minimum of two years' work experience. If you do not have an undergraduate degree you need to have completed five or more years of relevant work experience. You will be equipped with a sound understanding of business concepts as well as a strong platform of professional skills to enhance your employability and give you an edge in the job market. The specialisation in Business Management will be delivered through a combination of online and campus-based delivery. The first 60 points will be delivered through Auckland Online and the final 60 points will be available at both the City and South Auckland campuses. The PGDipBus programme is currently open to domestic students only. Students usually complete their programme in either 1 year (30 points per quarter) or 2 years (15 points per quarter). The PGDipBus provides pathways to further study at the masters level. The Postgraduate Certificate in Business (60 points) is available as an exit option or for students seeking a shorter qualification.
