The PGCertRobotEng also boasts flexibility for those who want a taste of postgraduate study but are not ready to commit to a longer programme, and can be treated as a pathway towards further, masters-level study via the Master of Robotics and Automation Engineering for students who choose to pursue it.

Course structure

The PGCertRobotEng is a 60-point taught programme with courses designed to give you the broad foundations in the field. You'll have to complete the following courses.

At least one of the following:

  • COMPSYS 726 Robotics and Intelligent Systems (Semester One)
  • COMPSYS 730 Robotics and Society (Semester Two)

At least one of the following:

  • ENGGEN 731 Agile and Lean Project Management (Semester One)
  • ENGGEN 732 Systems Thinking and Project Business Case (Semester One)
  • MECHENG 709 Industrial Automation (Semester One)

Up to two of the courses listed in the Electives tab.
