What you will learn

Conducted over six months full-time or 12 months part-time, this unique, industry-informed program is designed and taught by our world-class, research-active digital industries experts. Through a flexible combination of face-to-face and digital learning, you will:

  • gain a broad understanding of changing media technologies' role in everyday life, and their societal impact
  • research and analyse diverse media cultures from a local and global perspective
  • learn to critically interpret professional, ethical and cultural policy issues in relation to the media

Depending on your course choices, you could also build fundamental knowledge and skills in areas such as digital storytelling, data mining, music technology and virtual reality design.

Career pathways

You could go on to a full arts degree with a Digital Humanities major, or perhaps a Bachelor of Media-whether to start your first career, or an exciting new one.
