Like the Master of Biotechnology (Biomedical), the Advanced degree will place you at biotechnology's leading edge, where major advances are influencing important issues such as vaccine development, cancer treatment and stem cell therapies.
With more advanced research and data analysis skills in a specific area, however, you will be in an even stronger position to take on senior and/or leadership roles in that area. You will also be well placed to continue your research in a PhD.
