What you will learn

Completed over six months, the degree provides a wide-ranging overview of the immersive media industry and its creative and technical foundations.

You will gain:

  • understanding of the global immersive media industry and its future markets and applications
  • knowledge of immersive design theory and game-engine capabilities
  • basic technical skills in generating core digital assets
  • awareness of the physiological and ergonomic implications of immersive technology design and human-computer interfacing
  • insight into the industry's associated ethical considerations.

Please note: due to the practical nature of the degree with specific hardware and software requirements for Immersive Media Technologies, students are required to attend this program in person from the beginning of semester.

As such this offer is made on the provision you will be able to be onshore in Adelaide and attending face-to-face classes at the university on the first day of semester. Should this change we will keep you updated.
