The middle years of schooling (years 7-10) are an exciting time. Students are working out who they are, what's important to them and where the answers to these questions could take them.

Develop your digital capabilities in our eLearning Program - the first and only one of its kind for Education students in Australia. We will show you how to use your own iPad with pencil and keyboard to its full teaching potential so you can earn Apple Teacher status. You might even do your first year placement in an Apple Distinguished School.

Our Bachelor of Teaching (Middle) with Bachelor of Arts gives you the skills to engage growing young people in the vital study of history, society, culture and creativity.

The Arts covers a broad range of learning areas, includingEnglish, History, Geography, Languages, Legal Studies, Media, Music, and Psychology. Over the course of the degree you will:

• build expertise in the two subjects you intend to teach^
• explore educational issues, curriculum and practice relevant to the middle years
• work with inspiring teachers and researchers
• gain professional experience and connections through extensive school placements.

• Mid-year entry will only be available to domestic students. Due to the program structure and professional experience placements, students commencing mid-year study will complete their program in 4.25 years instead of 4 years. An accelerated 3.25 year option is also available.
• Business, Languages, Maths, and Psychology Teaching Areas may not be available for mid-year entry.
• International students who are currently studying at the University of Adelaide may apply to this program mid-year via internal transfer. Approval is based on your past and current enrolments, and is assessed by the Faculty of Arts on a case-by-case basis.
