With widespread crisis and conflict around the globe, there is an urgent need for individuals who possess the knowledge, skills and creativity to help communities affected by conflict recover, reconcile, and rebuild through peacebuilding strategies and initiatives.

Our Bachelor of Peace and Conflict Studies is the first and only degree of its kind offered in South Australia. It is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to make positive contributions to conflict resolution and peacebuilding initiatives around the world. You will:

• explore the history of peace, conflict, justice and human rights from a global perspective
• learn to manage, resolve and transform conflict through contemporary practices
• hear from professionals working in the humanitarian sector
• major or minor in a complementary discipline of your choice
• go on optional study tours to see how peace has successfully been built in nations affected by conflict
• be able to study abroad at international universities.

There are many exciting employment opportunities in the humanitarian, international development and peacebuilding sector, such as policy advisor, project officer, or aid agency worker.
