This qualification is designed for people who are already employed (or are volunteering) within a Conservation and Ecosystem Management workplace and are looking to gaining a formal qualification within this field.
In this course, you'll learn about a range of land and conservation work topics, including land management, parks and wildlife natural area restoration, weed management and vertebrate pest management.
You'll also learn how to participate effectively in workplace health and safety processes and observe environmental work practices within the Conservation and Ecosystem Management context.
On successful completion of this course you will be qualified to seek employment in the Conservation and Ecosystem Management industry in a variety of roles, or go on to undertake further study at TasTAFE with AHC31420 - Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management.
This course is available as an Australian Apprenticeship.
