The skills acquired during this course will enable students to qualify to sit a Weld Australia Exam as a Certified Welder, obtaining a Welding Ticket 1-9 (dependant on selection). This course will teach students how to correctly use typical welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welders to the required standard to undertake examination.
Successful completion of this course will enable students to undertake the accreditation examination through Weld Australia.
Some learners may already be employed in a related industry. The trainer/s for this course are self-employed and industry current and can share real-life experiences with the learners.
To be eligible to enrol in this course, you must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 300 hours Welding experience in a related Industry OR be a qualified Fabricator and hold a Certificate III qualification.

This course provides mandatory training and assessment for WELD AUSTRALIA certified welding tickets. It is designed for competent welders wanting a qualification to weld pressure vessels as defined in AS/NZ1796
