Lakes Entrance Bar Crossing for Professional Operators

SEAMEC offers a full day course for commercial skippers who intend to cross any bar to the ocean and wish to return in a safe manner. This course also forms the pre-requisite training for commercial operators wishing to gain a Local Knowledge Endorsement LK8 for the Lakes Entrance Bar - Passenger Carrying vessels.

Gain confidence in your ability to understand and negotiate any ocean access bar. The course comprises classroom theory, practical on-water demonstrations and introduces interpretation of charts, weather maps, cloud formations and assessment of conditions at a bar or ocean entrance.
