Certificate
Do you have a passion for working within your community supporting people with mental health issues to improve their health and wellbeing?
Our Certificate IV in Mental Health will provide you with the skills and knowledge to work in a variety of roles in mental health and social services.
This course will prepare you for roles in clinical, community and residential settings with a focus on mental health. This includes a range of community contexts including non-government organisations, providing NDIS supports, home-based outreach, and respite care.
According to the Australian Institute for Health and Welfare (AIHW), one in five people experience poor mental health and behavioural conditions, and it is rising. Millions of individuals have their lives impacted by spiking mental health issues.

* Trauma informed care.
* Provide recovery oriented mental health support.
* Establish self-directed recovery relationships.
* Assessing and promoting wellbeing.
* Facilitating self-advocacy.
* Working with other service providers.
* Promote Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultural safety.
