Are you already studying an electrical apprenticeship and thinking of ways you can specialise in a certain area? Why not consider specialising in electrotechnology?
Designed to formally teach you the practical and theoretical components required to complement your work as an indentured electrical apprentice, this course will give you the skills to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in building and premises.
Taught one day a week for the duration of your electrical apprenticeship, the course is a dynamic option designed to be as flexible as possible to fit into your everyday life and current workload as an apprentice electrician.
You'll be trained in theoretical, practical and online resources, and at the end of the course, you'll be in even higher demand thanks to your specialised qualifications. This might mean studying a Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation or a Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control. Both of these qualifications will add to your skillset and improve your employment opportunities in the future, and we'll be here to help you make those decisions when the time comes.
Please note, you need to be indentured as an apprentice electrician with a valid contract of training and registered on EPSILON to enrol in this course.
When you successfully this course, you'll be nationally recognised in the field, leading you towards a career as an electrical tradesperson or a general electrician. You'll also be able to work and earn, with the possibility of taking your studies and career even further.
Certificate IV in Electrical - Instrumentation
Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control
You will learn to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical wiring, systems and equipment in many environments. Plug yourself in for this exciting course that includes ERAC requirements for an 'Electrician's License'.
