The Master of Engineering Science (Civil Structures) consists of 13 units of study (200 credit points). Units normally carry 12.5 credit points, whilst the Major Research Project (CVE80016) unit carries 50 credit points. In each academic year, two units (25 credit points) per semester would normally constitute a part-time load and four units (50 credit points) per semester constitute a full-time load. The average weekly workload of a typical part-time student is expected to be 25 hours of personal study and class attendance time combined. For full-time students this would equate to 50 hours per week.
