The Graduate Diploma of Engineering (Civil Structures) consists of eight units of study (100 credit points). All units carry 12.5 credit points. In an academic year, two units (25 credit points) per semester would normally constitute a part-time load* and four units (50 credit points) per semester constitute a full-time load. The average weekly workload of a typical part-time student is expected to be 25 hours of personal study and class attendance time combined. For full-time students this would equate to 50 hours per week. To qualify for the Graduate Diploma of Engineering (Civil Structures), students are required to complete eight units (100 credit points) comprising:
- 6 discipline-specific units (75 credit points)
- 2 elective units (25 credit points)
* Students holding an international student visa are required to study full-time and on campus.
