About this course

This on-campus course has been developed in consultation with industry to meet the need for trained entry-level workers in legal administration. It is designed to produce employment-ready graduates after one semester of study. The course reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to provide support in a range of legal service settings. They apply solutions to a range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.
 
On successful completion of the Certificate IV in Legal Services, graduates may progress to the Diploma of Legal Services.

Course structure

The course consists of eight core and four elective units. The electives have been chosen in consultation with the industry association, the Institute of Legal Executives.

Credit for prior study or work
