The Certificate IV in Business Online offers students the skills and knowledge needed to prepare them for entry level business positions. Students learn practical organisational and technology skills in an online environment. Our studies connect essential modern skills such as proficiency in editing documents and spreadsheets and communicating in a professional manner with stakeholders and colleagues while working together on projects. Regular webinars support students learning and progression through the units of study.

The Certificate IV in Business emphasis on skill acquisition around customer experience (CX), marketing and financial strategy.

Students gain confidence in their problem solving, communication, team work, presentation skills, digital skills, and data literacy.

Graduates will have developed operational skills such as customer service skills, workplace health and safety readiness, marketing aptitude, website creation skills, finance budgeting competency, as well as office word and excel technology skills.

Course structure

To graduate from this course, students are required to complete ten units: one core unit plus nine electives. This online delivery mode includes weekly webinars, online activities and forum discussions. Students have the opportunity for online interaction with their teacher and other learners, as well as additional support and one-on-one coaching if required. Webinars are recorded so that students can review if unable to attend. Learning materials, videos and resources are available online. Online students are invited to join the offsite excursions are run to give students the opportunity to experience different kinds of workplaces.
