Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals. This course is best suited to learners who have completed a lower level Conservation and Ecosystem Management course, or have relevant industry experience. It is also for those currently in full-time employment who wish to attain the necessary knowledge to make a career change.
This qualification may lead to career opportunities with a range of organisations in roles such Landcare Facilitator, Project Firefighter, Catchment Officer (Water, Biodiversity, Community, Indigenous), Project Officer (Biodiversity, Revegetation, Waterways & wetlands), Bushcare Officer, Land Services Officer (Native Vegetation, Grazing, Wetlands), Bushland Management Officer, Cultural Heritage Officer, National Parks Ranger.
