This short course is a pathway to further study at Southern Cross University in the Allied Health professions.
It aims to prepare students for Diploma and subsequent Bachelor level studies, combining developmental College units with introductory units from the relevant programs.
Graduates of the Undergraduate Certificate in Allied Health will be eligible for entry with up to four units of credit towards the Diploma of Health (Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Osteopathic Studies, Nursing, Sport and Exercise Science or Biomedical specialisation). Upon successful completion of the additional units in the Diploma, students will be eligible for entry and up to one year of advanced standing towards a number of linked Bachelor degrees in Allied Health.
This course develops foundational knowledge and an introduction to Allied Health disciplines. It is a pathway to further study that can provide opportunities for careers as health professionals in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Sport and Exercise Science, Osteopathy, Biomedical Science and Nursing.
