Certificate II in Engineering (Mechanical Fitter and Machinist Pre-Apprenticeship)

This qualification will provide you with practical skills and knowledge in a range of metals and engineering industry areas including mining, manufacturing and marine. You will learn skills in using tools, measuring and calculating, technical drawing and drafting, thermal cutting, metal lathes and milling machines. You will also learn about safety in the workplace, computing and mathematics. You will use the skills you have learned in a classroom workshop environment when undertaking work placement.
