This course is an entry-level qualification that will make you job ready to become an aged care assistant or care support worker, equipping you with a skillset to provide a high standard of support to older people and those living with dementia by providing personalised assistance in aged care, residential and community care settings.

Entry requirements

School Leaver Non-School Leaver AQF
OLNA or NAPLAN 9 Band 8 C Grades in Year 10 English and Maths or equivalent Certificate I or Certificate II

Student must be over 18 years of age as the industry generally does not provide work placements for students under 18, making younger people unable to complete the qualification.
