About this course

You'll learn how to interpret market trends, and design and implement creative marketing and communication strategies, including specialised media planning and social media engagement.

Drawing on RMIT's local, national and global relationships, you will have the opportunity to work with and develop strategic marketing and communications for multiple industry partners as part of the Work-Integrated Learning projects within the program. Some of the project work you will work on with industry includes:

  • developing creative and strategic integrated marketing and communications for local, national or global campaigns
  • building skills in project coordination
  • using online business communication tools to work with teams
  • building intercultural communication skills working with various clients, brands and teams
  • develop go-to-market social media engagement strategies and advertisements
  • pitch and present a media plan and strategy to a global media agency, working with live client briefs.
