About this course

The Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy is taught out of the RMIT Student Massage and Myotherapy clinics, offering treatments to RMIT staff, students and the public. Through this and other work placements, you will receive supervised training, making you work-ready at graduation.

With a focus on practical applications, you will enhance your client consultation practices, develop preventive management plans, and use evidence-based treatment protocols. Students will also develop advanced techniques to treat myofascial, joint and neuropathic pain from the nervous system.

At RMIT's teaching clinic, you'll be able to apply your practical skills and learn advanced business techniques needed to manage staff and run your own practice.

You will also have the opportunity to undertake a placement with one of RMIT's industry partners.
