Overview

This major will see you develop an understanding of Agricultural Science and Agribusiness content applicable to year 11 and 12 SCSA Agribusiness and Agricultural Science curriculum.

Based on a combination of lectures, workshops, case studies, and farm visits the new Graduate Certificate in Teaching Agricultural Science and Agribusiness will see teachers spending time at the Agriculture Science facilities at our South Street Campus for specific learning experiences.

Informed by active, cutting-edge research, teachers will be equipped with the teaching knowledge and skills required to create ATAR level investigation tasks and plant and animal production projects.

With this major, you will gain a qualification that will allow for in-service teachers to specialise in this teaching area at agricultural and traditional schools in WA.
