As digital innovation transforms our understanding of how humans learn, educators are seeking to continually refresh their skills.

If you are looking to rapidly upskill and stay up-to-date with educational best practice, La Trobe's Graduate Certificate in Education is the perfect opportunity to extend your leadership credentials and advance your understanding of key learning principles.

Through four core subjects, you'll develop your skills in learning design, digital technologies and educational leadership. You'll also explore education for social justice and design educational programs for diverse audiences.

This flexible course is designed for people who're working. Many subjects are delivered in intensive or blended modes, making it easier to fit study into your life. If you choose to study part-time, you can also pace your learning over one to two years.

If you'd also like the option to further extend your skills, the Graduate Certificate in Education can also provide a fully credited pathway to the Graduate Diploma in Education and the Master of Education.

You'll learn:

  • Motivations

  • Diversity

  • Leadership and team building
    • Learn how to evaluate current practice and manage diversity in educational organisations.
