Diploma
The Diploma of Sports Turf Management has been developed for individuals working in the sports turf area who have completed a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management and are looking for senior or specialist turf management roles.
To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.
Applicants must have previously completed a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or an equivalent turf management trade level qualification.
Alternatively, applicants must hold a Certificate III-level qualification in amenity horticulture combined with two years' current work experience in a trade level role at a sports turf facility.
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. This information will determine your suitability to the course, verify your training plan and identify any learning support needs.
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
