Masters (Coursework)
To be eligible for admission to the Master of Cyber Security, an applicant must:
Students admitted with a Bachelor or Bachelor Honours degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing towards the program.
Students admitted with the Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security (3350) or Graduate Certificate in Business Cyber Security (3351) or Graduate Certificate in Cyber Crime (3352) or Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics and Cyber Security (3378) will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing towards the program.
This program will expose you to the skills and knowledge appropriate for a career in the cyber security industry. You will be equipped for potential career opportunities as a cyber security analyst, cyber security architect, cyber security manager, forensic computer analyst, security consultant, and security and compliance auditor. Cyber security is a key issue and you can find possible employment in government and private industries.
